The task involved replacing an exterior house wall, with consequent work on foundations, roofing, electrical, cladding, lining, insulation etc.

• From first contact they were professional and courteous; interpreting plans, providing information, answering questions, outlining processes and indicating timelines. They contracted the job properly and clearly.

• Considerate: e.g. in erecting a temporary wall as a barrier between the work area and the rest of the dwelling they made sure it was not only secure and draft free but also well sound insulated.

What stood out for us during our build was Ryan and his team’s professionalism, communication, planning, and work ethic.

They would always start at 7.30am and would work hard and at pace during the day maintaining great standards during the construction phase. With Ryan and his team, you get a group of young, fit, skilled and experienced builders who are a great guys that we got to know really well and enjoyed having them as part of our first experience building a large extension.

Along with his builders, Ryan also brings with him a really good crew of sub-contractors who hold the same high standards as he does. We couldn’t be happier with the end result and are grateful that we used Ryan and his team to build our extension.

The choice of proceeding with Ryan was an easy one. He was the fastest to reply to all my queries and provided a very detailed quote from the outset. He stood out from the other builders in terms of his level of professionalism, partially around communication. He was the only builder to provide a detailed quote in writing and provided references for his workmanship.

Suffice to say Ryan has not let me down. The renovation and extension to my home is now complete and I am very happy with the finished result. What I was also impressed with is Ryan’s focus on safety – he highlighted hazardous areas for myself and my boys to be aware of, particularly when he was building the deck (three stories high).

“Talked us through the the whole process with a realistic time frame”

Having never done any renovations previously I really had no idea what we were in for but Ryan and his team did a fantastic job and made the whole process simple and easy. Ryan stood out from other builders as, he was the first to respond with a phone call followed up with an email requesting the plans that we'd had drawn up. He provided us with a detailed written quote and talked us through the the whole process with a realistic time frame. Their attention to detail was of a very high standard, saving and refitting all of our original Rimu architraves and skirting. The site was always kept clean and tidy at the end of the day and his team were highly professional.  The sub-contractors engaged by Ryan all did an excellent job. 

We've just spent our first winter in our now in our double glazed and insulated house and couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend Ryan and his team and look forward to working with them again in the future when we take on stage 2 of our renovation.
